Whiskey Sour Recipe

A perfectly balanced cocktail blending the warmth of whiskey with bright citrus and sweetness, crowned with a silky egg white foam.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • 30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 20ml Sugar Syrup
  • 1 Egg White (optional)
  • Ice Cubes
  • Angostura Bitters for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add whiskey, fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white (if using) to a shaker without ice and dry shake for 10 seconds.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with a few drops of Angostura bitters on the foam and a lemon wheel.
